A Journey Through Nature’s Beauty

A trip out to take pictures of flowers turned into an in-depth look at something I had never seen before. The closer my camera got, the more intrigued I became. The life of a flower, much like that of all living things, goes through an interesting cycle. Unique and sometimes appearing so ugly that it’s actually quite beautiful.

Please take the time to wander through the flowers with me, in awe of nature’s beauty in all its glory.

The Flower Journey

As a Portrait Photographer I have always appreciated a field of wild blue bonnets, Indian Paint Brush and Blank Flowers because they made for beautiful backdrops for Portraits. Nothing makes a Natural Portrait lovelier than a field of beautiful wildflowers.

This is when my curiosity began to peek.

Blue Bonnets came in a pod.

The Blanket Flower

This strange alien looking ball is the seedling for the Blanket Flower.

Notice how the Indian Paint Brush seems to be made up of small heart shaped petals.

This year I thought, I would start over in photography beginning with flower and nature photography.

Nature has a way of captivating our hearts and minds with its breathtaking beauty. For me, this beauty is a reflection of something greater, a divine artistry that fills me with awe and gratitude. Every flower, every creature, every landscape tells a story of wonder and intricacy that leaves me speechless.
